Core Areas

Peregrine maintains over 100,000 net acres across its operated assets in Oklahoma’s Anadarko Basin, North Dakota’s Williston Basin, Louisiana’s Cretaceous Shelf, and the Texas Permian Basin. Our team focuses on the application of new technology to continuously improve results.  Peregrine operates the majority of its production and continues to evaluate growth opportunities in its core areas.

Anadarko Basin

Peregrine has operated and non-operated properties in the Western Anadarko Basin of Oklahoma. Peregrine originally acquired production and leasehold interest in the Anadarko Basin in 2013.  Since then, Peregrine has developed new play concepts, expanded its leasehold to over 15,000 net acres and drilled over 30 horizontal wells in the Cleveland, Marmaton, and Tonkawa formations.  Western Oklahoma is one of Peregrine’s core areas of operations.

Peregrine is actively looking for continued growth through acquisitions and development in the Anadarko Basin of Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle.

Williston Basin

Peregrine’s leasehold position in North Dakota’s Willison Basin was it first core asset and is comprised of both operated and non-operated properties.  Since entering the basin in 2008, Peregrine has tripled its position and participated in over 50 non-operated and operated horizontal wells in the Bakken and Three Forks formations.  Peregrine’s non-operated Williston Basin assets continue to be a stable source of production, while its operated area provides continued growth in North Dakota.

Cretaceous Shelf Margin

Peregrine Petroleum controls over 65,000 net leasehold acres in Rapides and Vernon Parishes of Central Louisiana, an area prospective for the Glen Rose, Eagle Ford, Austin Chalk, and Wilcox formations.  Peregrine acquired its acreage interest in 2018 and is actively developing its potential.

Permian Basin

Peregrine has operated and non-operated properties in the West Texas Permian Basin. Peregrine is actively looking for new opportunities in the area with a focus on operated assets.

Our Approach

Peregrine is focused on expanding its onshore domestic asset base through acquisitions, joint-ventures, and organically generated opportunities. Our strategy is to leverage Peregrine’s expertise and operational strengths to generate significant long-term growth as a best-in-class private producer of energy.
