The Galatyn Lodge, a luxury boutique lodge in Vail Village, is seeking an experienced live-in Assistant Manager. Prior hotel/lodge experience in Vail preferred. This is a full time, year-round position.
Duties:
• Delivering an exceptional guest experience
• Collaboration with the General Manager in day-to-day operations of the property
• Front desk coverage as needed; answer phones, respond to email correspondence, book reservations, collect and record deposits and payments
• On-call duty
• Light maintenance
• General upkeep of property
• Scheduling and tracking of contractors
• Marketing and publicity
Requirements:
• Hospitality Management degree preferred
• 2 to 5 years of experience in hotel or resort (reservations, revenue mgmt, front of house)
• Exceptional guest service and communication skills
• Positive, helpful, proactive mindset
• Desire to go the extra mile for both guests and Galatyn team members
• Professionalism and discretion
• Must live on property (1 bed/1 bath, 1200sf, pet-friendly apartment and parking provided)
• Ability to work nights/weekends/holidays
